These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at northernlightscabin.is (the "Site"), operated by 1707 ehf trading as Northern Lights Cabin ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

Photographs of the cabin and the surrounding landscape were taken by us and may not be reused commercially without written consent.

4. Bookings

Bookings for stays at Northern Lights Cabin are made through third-party platforms — currently Airbnb and Vrbo. The terms of those platforms (including pricing, payment, cancellation, and dispute resolution) apply to your booking. The Site itself does not process payments or form a contract for accommodation.

If you contact us directly via the contact form to enquire about a stay, any resulting booking will still be confirmed and processed through one of the above platforms unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. House Rules

Guests staying at the cabin agree to follow the house rules listed on the booking platform. These cover things like maximum occupancy, quiet hours, pet policy, smoking, hot tub use, and care of the property. Failure to follow the house rules may result in additional charges or termination of the stay in line with the booking platform's terms.

6. Information Accuracy

We try to keep the Site accurate and up to date, including information about the cabin, amenities, and nearby attractions. However:

• Travel times, distances, opening hours, admission fees, and road conditions in Iceland change with the seasons and weather. Always check current conditions on road.is, vedur.is, and safetravel.is before setting out.
• Photographs are representative; the cabin and landscape change with the seasons.
• We reserve the right to change information on the Site at any time without notice.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party sites (booking platforms, attractions, social media, mapping services). We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

8. Advertising
